Cornish is proud to present the West Coast premiere of this new play, based on the playwright's experience as a teacher.  Punk Rock explores the underlying tensions and potential violence in a group of affluent, articulate British private school students. Simon Stephens, one of the most celebrated new theater writers in Britain, employs barbed wit, compassion and sometimes shocking cruelty to expose the latent violence simmering beneath the surface of success-obsessed students.
