A classic improvised pulp thriller with a new twist; "5 Thieves" follows a band of crooks after a lucrative heist, each of whom may have tricks up their sleeves or a manipulative plan of their own.  However, not even the actors know what secrets the characters harbor from night to night (chosen with the help of the audience).  No two shows are the same, as the actors and the audience experience hidden truths and double crosses at the same time.

Do you love the American Girl Dolls? Then meet Kit Kittredge & her best friend, Ruthie. As a girl growing up during the Great Depression, Kit sees her dad lose his business overnight. To help save their home, the whole family becomes resourceful. With Ruthie by her side, Kit also learns to treasure what money can’t buy—friends and family. Through theatre games and crafts, students will learn about the history of America during the 1930’s and perform a short play on the final day of class.

In “Cabaret Terrarium,” a man is found inside a block of ice at the North Pole by Norwegian archeologists.  They defrost him.  He has no memory of his past.  He has a birthmark of a frog on his belly, a matchbook from a night club in his pocket, and a microphone in his hand.  And he has a thick Belgian accent.  He doesn’t know his name, but he is sure of one thing:  that he is a singer of the cabaret.

Put your storytelling skills to the test as you learn to IMPROVISE!  Improvisational theatre (improv) is spontaneous theatre with no scripts or prior planning.  In this class, we'll play lots of fun games and work together to create theatre in the moment while thinking on our feet and using our imaginations to create fun characters!  Our creations will be on display on the final day of class. Primarily for beginning improvisers.

Jean-Francois Millet, a brilliant but unrecognized painter, can't sell a landscape to save his life. His wacky bohemian friends convince him that faking his death is just the ticket for raising his stock. So, Jean-Francois disappears from life and re-emerges as his imaginary twin sister! The comedy continues as Mark Twain's satiric dialogue and madcap characters further the farce.

Arne Zaslove's rollicking 2008 version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is a be-hopping comedy of mistaken idenities, featuring classic '50s rock 'n roll tunes.  Set at Athens High on prom night, 1957, the characters, in poodle skirts and leather jackets, sing and dance the night away.
